Wallflower

Wallflower

A Poem by Jade Stone

I don't think it's kicked in yet
The fact that I'm a freshman in highschool
The fact that there's so much
I don't know about myself And the world.

And yes I'd like to believe that I do
But I don't

And maybe one day I'll accept the fact
That in only 14 and that Sadness and
Regret arent the only emotions ill
Ever feel.

There's an entire garden waiting for me which flowers will I pick?

Wallflower meaning: Faithfulness in adversity

I'm 26 and I am still getting to know myself.....and I'm starting to think that "finding ourselves" is a phase we'll never outgrow. Yes, you are young and there are still many flowers to be picked. I hope that you pick the best ones for you and your life.
