Kat

Kat

A Poem by Sarah
"

My second little bonfire poem! This was written for my friend Kat who, along with her guitar, was the inspiration behind it.

"

A new-age 80's rocker--
Blonde flair like a fan draws the eye,
Silver ring grabs the ballad of songs and tunes,
Enchanted eyes catch the passerby.

Kind words are the tonic of fashion,
Watch ash and spark on the fly,
But no song can heal the broken night,
As dawn cracks the open sky.

This was really written around a true-blazing bonfire, so spare me the detailed analysis if you don't mind!
