An Emotional KaleidoscopeA Poem by JadeTell me what you think this is about! :)
Intangible, Here, you will never find me. You think I’m lost…
But I know I’m found. I am at home. Climbing the stairway of infinite possibility.
Wading in the clear, crystal rapids of nothingness. Like a fire in the hearth,
With the strength to be destructive, And the will to be contained. There is a fine line drawn, Varying opinions,
On whether this haven Is of comfort or danger. Some argue for structure,
For solid and scientific reason. Some argue for proof, As if we don’t exist.
And I, Well I argue for the right to feel. The right to be here,
In this sanctuary of ‘inconsistency’, Which I prefer to call consistently fluid. The tables have turned,
And now the dreams and richness of it all rein. You have no clue, No idea,
Of what I am saying. But that’s the beauty of it. Only I can understand.
Only I can feel it. Only I can feel the warmth and the cold. The magnificence of it all.
They say great minds think alike, Well, they don’t. This, right here, proves it.
But you can go too, not to my haven, But to yours. Just succumb to it,
Rid yourself of the superficial senses, And feel. Overwhelm yourself with emotion,
And fall into nothingness. You never know… But just because you don’t see it, Doesn’t mean it’s not here. © 2013 JadeAuthor's Note
