Back to Brandy

Back to Brandy

A Poem by Josiah Adams

I want to be with her, after midnight
share a couple of brandy on ices
and talk hypotheticals
the "wouldntthatbenices?"
A house and tea kettle
or the van and the road
never settle
finishthewinebrought
backtobrandy
lipsnowcandy
kiss sticky,
boozedroolandooze
Everything about her has me thinking in twos.
