Wreath

Wreath

A Poem by Josiah Adams

I wrote a poem in the graveyard today,
a sonnet by death's shore.
The tombstones shuffled and oh
how I'd like for them to move some more.

I planted something nice today
flowers for a wreath
Oh please, oh please,
something come up from underneath.

I went to the graveyard
yes yet again
and you just won't believe
where the tombstones have been.

I find these to be whimsical words. I get the feeling the narrative is from someone who is possibly high watching tombstones shuffle in his head. Sorry if that's an insult.
