For I Am A Writer

Inspired by late night writing,spur of the moment feelings,and times where my life is a long poem and writing is all that helps.

My head hurts and my eyelids beg for rest. Not just yet I tell them,for I am a writer and though I am tired my mind is awake with new spinning thoughts,and emotions. As I mature I need a coping mechanism, mine seems to be writing. With every heartbreak,every joy,ever unexplainable thrill, that doesn't make sense I put into words and suddenly it is simple. Almost as simple as when the words fly in what ever shape or form they come in; quickly I sculpt the words trying to match them to emotions and experiences. Sometimes in rhymes to match my happy rhythm and sometimes just plain words,easy sentences for my confused soul. So do not fall yell sleepy eyes, for I am a writer and writers must write.
