What Makes You Better

If you were given the choice to have only three things in the entire world what would they be?You may be wondering why I ask such a simple and considerably easy question,well let me help you out. I mean ONLY three things.

Imagine it with me!You where you are right now. Now slowly take things away. The people in your life…people in the world all of them. Let's not go too quickly, you are probably alarmed enough. Now take away little things, coffee,books,fluffy pillows. Remove all the buildings ever built. Plants and all that grows from the ground. Let's go bigger. Words,knowledge,thoughts. The sky,everything that sits in it and falls from it. Oceans,land,all living creatures. Everything!
Breathe. Look at you now. There is nothing that exists. How does that make you feel? Surely not lonely?Maybe…but certainly a feeling of power surrounds you,is you. Think about it what really is here. It's just you. Well obviously, but now what exactly is you?The world has confused you for far too long,you don't really know. You cannot comprehend what YOU are.

You, no matter who you be, you are "human",you are a body with a soul,and a mind and organs. Seems simple right? No! You are a marvelous existence who's heart beats unceasingly every waking and sleeping moment. You are skin and bones woven together. A mind who thinks thoughts. Sometimes dark and scary that no one knows. Sometimes light and happy thoughts fill your mind with peace that you voice to the world. Other times you have passionate thoughts that you want to share but don't (those are usually the most brilliant of them,please share them more often)even when your thoughts are ugly the way they are formed is flawless. You are a spirit who feels deeply. Every bounding and leaping emotion you have is majestic. Every squeal,every giggle,every laugh,every scream,every sob. Each tear that falls,each smile that burst from your face. All anxiety and fear,all love and all passion. It represents life. You are everything your eyes have privilege to taste. Quiet colors,vibrant ones,textures. You are all your ears have ever heard. Breathtaking music, rushing water, precious voices you hold onto fondly.

Everything I described is you. It is every person that exists. You are a series of physical,mental,spiritual,and emotional reactions. Now do you see yourself? You are not your social status,economical class, nor measure of logic, let alone valuable in terms of just bodily appearance or anything else this deceiving earth tells you you are. The God almighty created you! Formed your very existence! How dare you think yourself any of that.

Picture just you again. Not in your grandest clothing floating in outer space,but you as I told you you are,and nothing else. What three things would you bring back to "your" world? Since you know your true worth what makes you a better you? There is much to be improved, everything to be achieved,and lots can make you better. Still,nothing can make you perfect so aim for simply better. Such a relief to know you don't have to be perfect,but only better. Aim for perfect and that is delusional thinking and unattainable. Choose wisely my friend, choose what makes you better.
