Forgotten not Forgiven

Forgotten not Forgiven

A Poem by Your Perfect Disaster

Sitting Silently Still

I think

        To myself

Nothing is as it seems.

And when Shadows dance on
             the walls

And memories play
        like a song

All will be forgotten.

Cause darkness you turned into light
As you held me close through the night

And mended my poor broken heart
Only to rip it apart

When Shadows dance on
           the walls

And memories play
       like a song

All is forgotten

            You are forgotten.

Cause i'm tired of living in sin
           Mending my poor broken limbs

And my tired hips and beat-up lips
Yearn for the bandage of love.

Love that wasn't enough </3

Your Perfect Disaster
It's supposed to be more of a song.

I could def see where you could weave a melody into this. This was hauntingly sad, where it said that "shadows danced on the walls" and "beat-up limbs yearn for the bandage of love". Heartbreaking.
