Above the Clouds, Into the Storm

Above the Clouds, Into the Storm

A Poem by Jacqueline Murray
"

"
One believes clouds are just an illusion until he
sees them from overhead in an
airplane.

Lighting is an even more nebulous concept until one can see the tops---
not the bottoms---
of the clouds floodlit by white.

Too old now to fit in with the misfits, and
too young for the lonely and
disappointed.

He drifts through and between mirrors,
and in and out of glass.

Pensive realizations that the difference between illusion and concrete reality is the difference between the top of the fall and the bottom.

Lovely thoughts nice viscosity to the words.
