A Vase Full of Memories

A Vase Full of Memories

A Poem by Jacob Brine

Withered petals on a pool of tears.

Once were beautiful, now are brown.

A cruel remembrance of all the years.

Withered petals on a pool of tears.

Plucked one, by one, by irrational fears.

Leaving us empty, with just a frown.

Withered petals on a pool of tears.

Once were beautiful, now are brown.
