Hope to carry onA Poem by OutcastFor Brennan Michael Bennett.
I hope you know.
I hope you know i spend 6 hours a day, Wishing and wishing the pain would melt away. I hope you know it wasn't god given, But once i met it, it was conjugal;i was be-smitten. I hope you know its the reason i cry Why was it him why couldn't i have died? I hope you know he is still here, He's right next to me; he vanquishes my fears. I hope you know i play until my fingers bleed, Just in hope of some elixir of greed. I hope you know it wasn't supposed to be possible The tones and the rhythms and sounds are downright improbable I hope you know it took me some work, no eidetic memory, nothing was my choice. No added extra perks. Just.. I hope you know, it was a voice © 2013 Outcast |
