Wishing I Could Be There AgainA Poem by Jacob Ryan TaylorA song I wrote for my best friend when I found out everything was ending.
“Wishing I Could Be There Again” Verse 1: Do you remember, All the good times we had? Do you remember, At everything you’d laugh? Do you remember? (Musical Pause) Chorus: Wishing I could be there again. Wishing I could still be your friend. Wanting to be close by your side, But I know that won’t happen tonight. Verse 2: I never thought we would go our separate ways, And I know that you’re not the one that wants to stay. Well nothings ever gone forever, We should just sit back and be together, And listen to what our hearts say. (too intense but works in the song) (Musical Pause) 2nd Chorus: Wishing I could be there again. Wishing I could still call you friend. Wanting to be close by your side, But don’t let that stop you tonight. Verse 3: This FRIENDSHIP means so much to me, So don’t let it just be history. Everything you’ve said, Has only helped by pushing me ahead. Written By: Jacob Ryan Taylor © 2013 Jacob Ryan TaylorReviews
