Your kisses covered me like wildflowers,
Persistent and bright and sweet. You held me loosely, As if your flowers would be crushed, Their fragile beauty ravaged. I knew they would eventually turn into weeds, And then to choking, stinging dust, But my arms clung to you anyway, Wanting my body to be your garden. © 2008 JaclynReviews
