Your Black Umbrella

Your Black Umbrella

A Poem by Jacky Bones
"

Is torn and confused

"

 I don't know what's real.

Or I don't know what I feel.

Today reminds me of yesterday.

Its a lot like a day.

In a magazine.

Telling you to "Keep It Clean"

When it rains.

I tried to get under,

The black umbrella.

But I've got all the fame.

When you taste fruit punch.

I hope it taste like fucked up b***h.

I gave myself one chance.

Stepped on some broken glass.

At first it felt like wine and grass.

I felt a little out of luck.

Well now I'm just fucked.

Cause it cut the soft spot of my heel.

And I'm sick of spinning the losers wheel.

Trying to figure out how this makes me feel.

You were a minuet forward.

I don't have the words.

I was lost, But now I'm found.

And I'm not fond.

Of this mound.

I'll love you tomorrow.

Remember Yesterday is,

Only a day away.

I gotta get a hold of this,

Before I pull the brakes on may.

I can't let this happen.

Well not again.

Sometimes the rain is better.

Even in this southern weather.

Gone like dust in the wind.

Sometimes the wind gets lost.

And it backtracks.

The River always wins.

The Tree got the most.

The Ideas stack.

Scream if you like.

But it wont change what's wrong.

To what's right.

Seven words strong.

Four letters long.

This rain ain't a scene.

But I tried to get under.

Breathen is the fiend.

I've got a wonder.

What does this all mean.

When I tried to get under,

Your black umbrella.
