Nothing But A Echo

Nothing But A Echo

A Poem by Jacky Bones
"

Tomorrow is so far.

"

I feel so sad.

I don't know why.

I feel so flat.

My hands grow tight.

Painting pictures.

Of my past.

Greener then my future.

In the pastures.

In green grass.

Let the lines carry me.

To where I need to go.

Unfortinatly.

Repeating.

The birds still sing.

And the moon still glows.

Never be the same.

The wind blew my name.

I could sing a sad song.

I could sing a sad song.

I could sing.

If I had a sad song to sing.

If I had a sad song to sing.

If I could sing.

I got a trophy.

I got some scars.

I got a trophy for getting a scar.

I got scars for trophies.

I have trophy scars.

I pleed.

I pleed.

Inside me.

I bleed.

I bleed.

Inside me.

I believe.

I believe.

You died inside me.

Projectionist.

Inside my head.

Promenade.

Apon memorries fade.

Epicedium.

Protect'em.

I painted a picture.

At the end of a long rope.

Of letting go.

Of the stretcher.

At the end of a long dream.

I scream.

When its over.

Over again.

But pictures of my past.

Come out greener.

Than my future.

I sing a sad song.

While I paint.

Nothing but a echo.
