Social Butterfly With A Little WineA Poem by Jacky BonesIs this loud enoughfor you?Is this ignorance? Is this bliss? I've got violins. There strings french kiss.
I've got a a punch line that kills. It's no joke. It's my fist that makes your blood spill. Then on it you choke.
Today I'm leaving you. In the same way you left me. Will you even say sorry? (Not likely). I hope you're alone and confused. (With ego brused).
You can cry me a river. I need the push. Not much of a swimmer. The speed gives me a rush. Got my diving bell. Found a butterfly It goes so high. Above the swell.
Took to many U-turns. Turned on by the way you look. It gives me a reason. For still breathin.
There's a Mountain range on my chest. Polor bears with coke in my living room. For this I feel blessed. With broken glass and thorns on the floor.
I'm a man among men. Or a fool among the elephants. Maybe just a elephant man. With two hands.
You left those four letters at my door steps. I'm just at the bottom with all my friends.
You must have sixteen candles. For the social butterfly. With lust for every other better guy.
In this conversation I counted you blink. Lost my mind with that wink. I don't know what to do. But scream and hit back There's a reason I'm dressed in black. Oh yeah 182.
White apple trees. Surrounded by blue bumble bees. Chains of security. And breakfast at tiffany's. © 2008 Jacky BonesAuthor's Note
