Take This Part Of Me.

Take This Part Of Me.

A Poem by Jacky Bones
"

You know you want to

"

The taste of bitterness runs high.

Like kings who fly.

With ripped paper wings.

We fell so high.

And I'm head over heels.

Cant keep holding on.

But feeling this is where I belong.

Have I lost everthing?

Or has everthing lost me?

I really don't know.

But I believe.

That I know how now.

Know how to win at losing.

Soft notes play in the backround.

As kisses rust.

On the high to take down.

I pray.

I pray for the day

I pray for the day that.

I PRAY FOR THE DAY THAT YOU GO AWAY.

Rage starts to build.

In a ember field.

Can't take this anymore.

WHO ARE YOU TO SAY WHAT I SHOULD DO.

WHO ARE YOU TO SAY WHATS BEST FOR ME.

HOW DO YOU KNOW WHATS BEST FOR ME?

HAVE YOU BEEN BEHIND MY EYES?

SEEN WHAT I'VE SEEN?

HURT LIKE I'VE HURT?

YOU CAN'T SAY WHATS BEST FOR ME.

AND I WONT SAY WHATS BEST FOR YOU.

Whoa. INTENSE.
It's as if I could feel you screaming this at me.

((On a side note: After I read this, I felt really kind of shaken up, I looked behind me, and Harry the penguin was just up in the corner of my bed, being rugged and just...there...And I was just like, "whoa"))

Well written and your repetition works. Just the mere phrase of "I pray" brings such power to your words.
