Simple Times

We loved through simple times

It was love of a romantic kind

We embraced Love for all it was worth

Long walks so we could talk

and ramble on our simple minds

We would write simple love songs

Each of us could sing along

A touch a scent of love

The kind older folks dream about

Simple times of love and romance

Could we make it if we had half a chance

Or would this world break us in two

Wondering around like two fools

You break up to make up

That is the sweep sounds of love

Growing together it could be forever

But we must take that chance

Love must be strong

Not meant for the weak

It's those simple times

Of Love and romance

That makes life so sweet.
