Don't Read from the Wrong Book

Don't Read from the Wrong Book

A Poem by Jacob Bryden
"

All hail our new overlord. Thanks, Tommy.

"
Fledgling boys
should never toy
With that which they don't understand.
Portals and Signs,
And all things malign;
The tools of Satan's right hand.

But Tommy was one who broke the rules,
He fooled about all day.
He had no qualm,
As he held in a palm
A tome of the sinful arcane.

With such glee he read
From pages of dread,
And summoned the great O'Dak'Thine
Who devoured the lad,
His mother,
His dad,
And reigned terror on all of mankind.
