Its a secret in my heart I cannot tell
I try to hide it, but its not going to well
Mixed feelings wanting to say it all
But after being beatin down I can only stand so tall

 

I try to push it away but it comes back more
My thoughts is what I try daily to ignore
His smile burned into my heart, it's something new
Curiousity shoots as I wonder who he's into
 
Laughing it off, but it is still there
I close my eyes and whisper a prayer
Yes, I think I need him, but I dont really
I wish I could just speak my mind freely

 

It hurts just a little, he doesnt know
But before long, I know it will show
So ill go on living and day dreaming like I do
Maybe he'll like me back, I hope that it's true
