Beat Down?

This tells a little bit of what I went through when I was still in Russia...and tells of how I was saved and no longer am that scared little kid, but a stronger girl who doesnt regret her past cause It makes me who I am today.

Beat down, blood on the floor

Lying on the ground as he hit me some more

Pushed down to the lowest anyone could go

crawling into a corner to cry, nobody would know

 

Screaming at me, telling me to die

Life hates you, you dont need to try

Only one thing echoes and that's my plea

"please stop!! you are killing me!"

 

I got saved from that mess and I'm alive

They came and took me, giving me a chance to survive

I had to be taught to smile and love, it was all new to me

My life was changed around, I didn't know this could be

 

Now i live and love as if nothing had gone wrong

If my past has taught me anything, it was to be strong

In fact it doesnt bother me, all that had been done

Cause that's what makes me, me today..so in the end...I won

very strong...lol i like the reliability of your floetry haha....if you will...what i mean is it seems that your words always connect and flow together no matter what...it seems you have the art of creating a rhythm with your poems down pact. anyway im sorry you had to live that way...im sorry they did these things to you...but at the very least comfort can be found in the fact that you survived and are much stronger and resilient for it...good poem...

Awsome, you show true passion with this one. I am sorry you would had to go through with this, but at the same time you found wisdom in your pains. I had a tough life to. I might have not been beaten, but I had an emotional twist that broke me a bit, shattered my way of thinking and trusting people. I see different, and I know my flaws, even my problems I don't really have a desire or need to fully conqure. Yet, my new found wisdom takes e somewhere, and tells me to keep on this path, and never walk off. I hope you find your road.
