Strength Within

Strength Within

A Poem by Jackie Mckeen

Standing there, unmoving legs showing now fears
A face without expression, hiding all the tears
You look at this person wondering how they got so strong
You admire them wondering what things they have surpassed that were wrong

Searching their face for signs, uncertainty is what you seek
Yet their body mind and soul are far from being weak
And when you look in their eyes, you see wisdom from their past
Then you wish you can have the strength they have now and not be last

Try playing with font, it helps.

I really like your message here. Great message, very well imparted.
