Childhood

Childhood

A Poem by WintersChild

Childhood

Childhood...
silky, soft, vulnerable innocence.
Changing, shuffling, re-writing years.
Performances, delicious and disturbing.
Played and directed by me.
Wrapped in Kodac and hiding in a shoebox.
Easily forgotten, easily reviewed.
Eroded by a vaguely remembered mood.
