Arguing with her, arguing with myself...

Arguing with you, Am i some kind of fool?

Attempting to get through, as if you would understand

As if you would catch a clue, or even lend a hand. 

What am i trying to prove, I've got nothing to gain

To much to lose, so what's the use. Whats the use

Arguing with you, same old, same old news. 

These statements are true. This is a review

This is the voice inside that is talking to you

Why do you... Why do you waste your time

Arguing with her. Don't you see the signs

As if it was obscure. She won't change her mind

Unless you see her side she will continue to fight

Why do you waste your time, let these thoughts

Invade your mind

Why do you even bother? Cause I'm a father 

to her daughter and we should be on the same page

It shouldn't be so difficult, it shouldn't be this way

But the facts remain, with her it will never change

So why waste your time, why invest so much 

when you know it willl never be enough

You're so devoted and outspoken. Even broken

You still try to find a cure. Is it not clear

Your not getting through. Am i not getting through

Am i some kind of fool. Or have you caught a clue

Why... Why do you argue? What do you have to prove

Youve got so much to lose so what's the use. Whats the use
