Defected

We are all affected by a society defected
We are all dissected by a government
who has rejected the entire spectrum
and is highly protected

We are left wide open to a media
that points out the broken. We all
have a voice that should be outspoken
We are left hoping. We all struggle coping
Many of us choking. We are like sponges
We continue soaking

Soaking up the pain. While they are
revoking all that's sane. We soak up the rain
while they continue to maintain.

We are deeply connected. We are all affected
by a society defected. We are all dissected
by a government that has completely rejected
the entire spectrum and is highly protected
Leaving the masses feeling offended.
They continue to defend it. And in the process
we become the descended

We become the fallen. An entire race
We hear so many calling. Feeling outraged
It is so appalling, the struggles that we face
We can hear them talking in so many ways

So many empty promises
Its so petty and ominous
For centuries to prove dominance
You're evil deeds cause callouses

We are deeply connected. We are all affected

Leaving the masses feeling offended.
They continue to defend it. And in the process
