Not MeA Poem by JackieNot like those contorted stories some now believe
I'm not what you've perceived.
That bad, horrible guy you made me out to be. Not like those contorted stories that some now believe. Not like the narrator leaving the spectator deceived. I'm not that terrible person you've led some to believe. That's not me. I never was that vile person you've created an entire army to see. I'm just a scapegoat, a sponge. A permanent place for you to be relieved. I've soaked up all your guilt and all that filth you left over for me. I am not what you've perceived. Not that terrible person you made me out to be. I've just taken the blame for all your tyranny. March 4th, 2016 © 2016 Jackie
