Dismissed

Got this feeling the other day at my daughter's councilling apt.

You ask me why, I'll tell you why
You expect the truth, well I won't lie
Yet when I describe, you deny

You don't want the truth, it's to much for you
I won't make an excuse, you asked for the truth
You can't handle it so what's the use

What's the point, you don't believe
You won't accept, you won't receive
You dismiss it, you just ignore me

You don't believe me, you probably think I'm lying
But you asked for the truth and I'm not hiding
I'm right here before you, I expose all of what's inside me

You deny me, you don't believe me
Your hiding , you don't accept other possibility
Closed minded, the deception is all you can see
