"

Something is bothering Jack, he investigate what was it ,leaving Cacyie behind, who forgot where the hotel was.

"

The store lady freaked her out a little, as they continue to traverse on the road of Gerik. Cacyie is feeling down, even though she is holding her newly bought outfit. “Do you want to go back?” Jack said as he stops his tracks, he looks down at the scared little girl, gripping to her bag even harder. She quietly nodded yes. “Then go home, I still need to do a few things.” She was shocked to hear that; Jack was walking away from her, “But wait! Jack?” She tried to call for him, he was already gone from her sights. She mumbles to herself; I don’t feel safe without you. She walks back the way she came, passing by many of the same stores earlier. She can’t remember where the hotel is, quickly becoming lost, left to wander in Gerik for most of the day. She cursed Jack for leaving her like this.

She held close to her bag that Jack bought her, it was the only thing keeping her safe, that’s what she kept telling herself; discovering a lot more things about the town than before. She took a break at a bench, near a fountain; her legs were starting to hurt, she wondered how she was going to find her way back. “Hello.” Lost in her own thought, she was surprise by the sudden hello, she panics and views her surroundings; a boy, around her age, sat down beside her in the bench. “Whatcha doing?” She was nervous of him, hiding behind her bag. “Ju-, just looking around.” The boy couldn’t help but gaze at her, “Are you looking for something?”

“Yes, I’m trying to find my home.”  She held her bag at her chest now. “Are you lost?” the boy said. Cacyie, was embarrassed to say it, “Yes.” The boy then asks with a cheerful smile, “Then do you mind If I help find your house?” She moved her eyes to the boy, blue hair that barley cover his eyes, and she was pretty sure his eyes are also blue, wearing a white shirt, shorts, and tiny boots. “Yes.” The boy smiles in happiness, he jumps out of the bench, grabbing Cacyie’s hand, dragging her with him “Then let’s find it together.” She found it confusing at first but with little time, she was getting comfortable with him. “What’s your name?” she holds his hand as well, “My name is Ben, and yours’s?” She’s walking in pace with him, “Cacyie.”

In another part of town, Jack was able to escape Cacyie for a little bit, he didn’t do it to be mean to her, but to investigate the town in general; he’s got a bad feeling about it and it doesn’t look like he can shrug it off easy. The store lady was the first hint for sure, basically hating them both for existing. Jack hid himself in a dead in alleyway. He sat down, thinking about how to approach this. The water dripping to the ground, making a dirty puddle next to the garbage can; rats are scouring of it, trying to find their next meal. The sun also never meets the walls, dark all day and night, perfect place to hide. Jack also couldn’t help but feel watched, a pair of eyes on him, seeing everything he does, he knows it all too well, back when he was with Cacyie. Jack guesses he should see what the king is doing, if anyone is behind anything, it should be him.

Jack was about to use his key to get there, but before he took it out; he felt those pair of eyes watching him again. He looks around the empty alley for anything out of the ordinary, searching even the roofs above him; he couldn’t find the source, and it is making him irritated. He doesn’t want to risk being caught doing something with anyone watching. He lets go of the key in his pocket and shuffled out to the public. He walks around, trying to find a place to hide in a place without batting a suspicious eye, He searches long and hard, and he couldn’t think of a single place to hide, and those eyes are still following him. He decided to hide another way, he quickly runs into another alleyway, immediately turning invisible as he turns the corner. He stops his footprints to not make any sound, he then activates the phaser ability, he didn’t think once about the ground, making him fall through the floor, like being devoured to the underground.

A door opens in a closet and Jack was spit out of it.  He was very happy and relieved to land a sewer under the city; it was better than falling to the core of the planet. He is squeezed between different tools, mops, and brooms, he sighs at the sight of another closet, a common place to be taken to, but right now he has no time to complain. He opens the closet door slightly, peeking out to the other side, he checks in one direction and then the other, determining that is safe to come out. He quietly closes the closet and proceeds to the left of the hallway. He pops invisibility to avoid getting spotted in this place.  This hallway is very big and spacious, windows were in the left side of the room, with red and gold drapes hanging from each one, the floor was a bloody red carpet.  Numerous tables were scattered in it, some holding lamps that bright up the room, doors were lined up on the right side. Jack took a detour to view out the window. The place he is in is very high off the ground, with the town looking small from a distance, he must be in the only tower in the town, telling himself that he is the right place.

If he had any chance to find the king, it would be here. He wanders around the place, avoiding the phone, just in case someone comes around the corner somewhere. He had no luck though, as the tower was like a maze, he spent time traveling throughout the floors only to find each one of them similar, the rooms didn’t help either. He did find one floor that host large double doors, like the ones he saw when he was being escorted out of the throne room. He walks up to it and puts his head through the door using his phaser. It was in fact the same room, but more empty than last time he was here, he did spot the king again, with three people in front of him. He moved closer to hear the conversation, he stands behind one of the pillars in the room and turned off his invisibility.

“What do you mean you lost him!?” The king roars at the three individuals, slamming his right fist down on his chair. He could contain his anger at what he heard. “I’m sorry your majesty, he turned to a corner and vanished without the trace.” The guy kneeling closest to the king, he is in front of the group of three, very black spiky hair, a mean face, and very light weight, but dark clothing. “What do you mean he just vanished, you three are the best spies we have in Gerik. No one should be able to get past you.” The guy on the left speaks next, he has glasses, with light brown cut hair, and the same light weight clothing as the first one. “Mark is right your majesty. Normally if anyone would have teleported, using any magic, we can apprehend them before it goes off.” The next part of the explanation is picked by the girl on the right, very pink and puffy hair, wearing the same clothing as the other two, “If anyone would have turned invisible, It would be useless to us, We can see even the most transparent people.”

The guy upfront speaks again, “What were trying to say is, this man did something different to slipped past us.” The king is quiet upset about this, his top three spies saying he has an ace up his sleeve, to get past his defenses. It scares him even more about the queen finding out about this, he couldn’t bear the thought of that happening. The kings said in the calmest he can be right now, “Amber, Mark, Cody, you may the leave the room, if you find him again, capture him. He is considered dangerous from now on.”

The three spies left the room in their own chatter , leaving only the king and the silent empty room. Russel cannot handle any more bad news for today, he might have a heart attack from it, exhausted from his job, he steps down from the throne room and heads over to his room to sleep. He had to admit, he was handling the king position fine before, no problem ever came up that requires serious attention. When those two showed up for the first time, all the duties of the king sudden hits him like a train, flooded his peace with papers and requests. And the queen, who didn’t see for a while suddenly, shows up to parade in his life again.

`              He entered his room and breathed a sigh of relief again, another day past, more jobs and paperwork are finished, and problematic to still solve. He got himself a change of clothes and falls to his bed like a rock, the quiet of the room relaxes him, as he snuggles to his bed, praying for good dreams tonight.
