Porphyria's EulogyA Story by JKenningsToday we are gathered in loving memory of our dear
Porphyria. Another tragic loss of one oh
so young taken oh so soon. Let us not
dwell on her maddened lover, but rejoice in her memory. Yes, let us look back lovingly on the way her
yellow hair encompassed the ballroom as she twirled to the music. Who here cannot recall the warmth of her blue
eyes the night she ran off? Alas, it was
her indulgence in lust that led her from us.
Let us, those that are pious remember; for all night they did not stir
and yet God did not say a word. © 2016 JKenningsAuthor's Note
