Woe to the Rich, the Immoral and Poor

Woe to the Rich, the Immoral and Poor

A Poem by Jack Carver

She is lovely and demure not immoral at last
It is so great to just talk with a moral girl
And to be no drunkard and drink slow not fast
Not high but giving caffeine a genuine whirl
Everything in moderation is for me
You, meaning the world, freezes at its sound
And you, meaning the Church, thinks it's all free
But it is precious beyond money when found
Be honest, kind, giving, loving, and true
To God and the Son, your King and his Word of words
And pay attention when he talks to you
And go his way not following the herds
Be content to have as well as to be in want
Be humble and always rich and healthy not gaunt.
