Jesus and Tough Love

Jesus and Tough Love

A Poem by Jack Carver

If you are born again but are not a god
You are like me a son of Christ our King
Which is no small thing to rejoice about or laud
You are not yet a brother for Christ to bring

To his Father and when you say you are...
You say that he is your Brother... He is not
No one can rightly call him Brother so far
That is not a god but he's God our Father by lot

And woe to you who sin for you are not
But prophetically forgiven for how long
Before it is realized if you fit the slot
To say you are you haven't finished that song

And when you stray and say it you're evil and wrong
And he can allow a demon to come to you
For technically you do not yet belong
Is what I said not loving but also true?

He doesn't have to lead you either at that
He can also drive you where you should at once go
For should you comeback your mind in need and flat
He will drive you where he wants you to go you know?

He who says he doesn't micromanage our lives
Follows human thinking like Peter's or wives!

Author's Note

Jack Carver
Do not despair when you a child of Christ are punished by your Father Jesus Christ for you will be more than a prince but a god when he finishes training you and you had earthly parent who should have done the same and wisdom is proven right that you should love them for anyone who does not honor their father or mother cannot enter the age to come.
