Often Think of These Things

Often Think of These Things

A Poem by Jack Carver

"I do too love the Lord Jesus Christ!"
Patience said to her brother as they played the game
"And I will love even you!" though it was priced
For she put her piece where it really belonged all the same
"It was not an accident I thought that's where it went,"
She told her Mom though she won it anyway
And her mother congratulated her for her vent
Was defensive but it was commendable as they say
"That's better than just good it is excellent!" she said
Her brother had cheated and still lost the game besides
"What you did, Honey, is praiseworthy; nothing to dread
What you said was true and honorable," she decides
But her father scolded his son for it was not lovely
And sent him to bed early saying it was not of me.

Patience sinned by placing her piece in a place that was to her advantage by mistake. But mistakes don't matter men judge you by what you do not what you wanted to do and they will judge you as dishonorable if you accidentally cheat or are deceived by the Devil just as gods and angels are judged by Jesus Christ and the saints in the spirit world, the way He and the Gods would be judged if they did some evil thing they couldn't undo which God never did for he only did what Satan would have done to kill him and leave him doing nothing which is what we do with sin if we sin. We only do what sin would have us do as our master each time. It is our responsibility in our spirit to put sin to death either by saving it or never letting it do anything ever again and live only the spirit that Jesus changed by salvation and loving God with all we have and our neighbors as ourselves. Amen, Jesus! He says, "Amen," to that I'm sure.
