Often Think of These ThingsA Poem by Jack Carver
"I do too love the Lord Jesus Christ!"
Patience said to her brother as they played the game "And I will love even you!" though it was priced For she put her piece where it really belonged all the same "It was not an accident I thought that's where it went," She told her Mom though she won it anyway And her mother congratulated her for her vent Was defensive but it was commendable as they say "That's better than just good it is excellent!" she said Her brother had cheated and still lost the game besides "What you did, Honey, is praiseworthy; nothing to dread What you said was true and honorable," she decides But her father scolded his son for it was not lovely And sent him to bed early saying it was not of me.
