My Defense as a Son of Christ

My Defense as a Son of Christ

A Poem by Jack Carver

My brothers we are princes in line for the throne
Of our Father Jesus who opened our minds and made
It that we are gods in him and in the true God
Why hide it? You are not ashamed of him!
Our uncles the brothers of Christ do not like it
But it is true ask Jesus Christ the King
Jesus I am not ashamed of you Father!
There is no blasphemy to it my Lord
I speak of what I have seen of my Father, Jesus
And you do what you have heard from your Father
As Jesus said to the Jews about being the Son
I say to you if anyone keeps my Father's word
He shall not see death but live on in eternity
I honor my Father and you dishonor me
You did no sign but what you said is true
My Father raised Lazarus four days dead
Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!
If I do not wash your feet you have no part in me
What I say therefore I say as my Father said.
