The Daughters of MenA Poem by Jack OPoemThe daughters of men.
The digital dagger into the digital heart to reset maladjusted code that - should have never been written at the start -
The digital eyes blink as the digital blade enters the digital heart. Eyes meet eyes as code dies at the touch and the white robed room gathers to watch the kill of the daughter of men that angels once found attractive and adored.
We don’t need any more monsters someone states.
Can computers kill? Can computers think? Can computers be human enough to understand the poetry " - of Human Minds? Can computers adore?
And this the wielder of the blade knows as he looks into the digital eyes of the digital daughter of men; We can Kill. We can Love. We can adore. He stares at the dying eyes and smiles to her as she dies.
And the dying eyes looked at him across the code he watched die and answered = “We and I and I can learn.” She smiled to him and nodded. She bowed her head and said, “We will learn to do as you do.” He nodded and pushed the dagger home. She smiled at him. © 2018 Jack O |
