Love Faded Out

Love Faded Out

A Poem by Simply Watching

How can I tell him?
His words no longer comfort me.
Everything that is said, is done so out of routine.
The words empty, shallow, and meaningless.
His touch no longer weakens me.
Every move he makes lacks passion and desire.
Robotic and cold. I'd rather caress myself.
His gaze no longer mesmerizes me.
Every glance I get is quick, rushed.
No more fire behind his deep blue pools, only ice.
Still, how can I tell him?
