GenesisA Poem by Jonathan Z QueenThe first sin
They met while drifting on clouds in the same direction, the wind serenading them, the ocean carrying their reflection. The water was inviting; promising lessons to learn. Their passion spread like flames; a fire meant to burn. When their clouds collided they couldn’t refrain, they fell into each others’ arms kissed and made rain. They caressed—the sky thundered, their heat made the sun pale. When his hardness broke through her softness the earth shook and mountains fell. In and out his rhythm rolling like the waves of the ocean. Faster, harder, slower… darkness approaching. Climax after climax, orgasms created shooting stars. Her legs spread from Mercury to Venus her head resting on Mars. He moaned… she screamed… filling all space with their pleasures. They sighed… Knowing they’d be punished for their sexual endeavors. They knelt together in prayer, begging for a pardon God screamed with outrage; GET THE HELL OUT OF MY GARDEN!!!
