Ghetto Survival Guide

Ghetto Survival Guide

A Poem by JZOZA
"

A short poem/story about another girl.

"
There's a plastic a*s magician
in a corner and he aint listenin'
to the stories that i tell'em
'bout a girl who's only beggin'
for her life to be back on track
to be off pills and off the smack
shes like all the others
with no father only mothers
dudes quick to f**k but slow to love her
but i giver her refuge like a cover
from the monsters of the cupboard
and protection from the smother
keep in air like a rubber-
balloon, you know theyre inflated
no gear is as big as you make it
dont feel bad shes only mistaken
and in bad times she was taken
by the angry and by force
with love no remorse
and the doors of her mind
are all closed up behind
every person she ever trusted
now she knows they were lying
and for her that crossed the line
now you know that shes dyin'
its a ghetto survival guide
and we aint buyin'
