Spread memories like an eagle and its wings

buried in soil like an old oak tree

long forgotten, with past memories

losing someones doesnt come with ease

 

You look back and feel the sunlight

You look back and see the streetlight

You look back and it dont feel right.

Im pleased by the time spent

but after so long im not sure where it went

time flys swiftly on wings of paper

what you know now you may not later

im lonley now without my love

and all together, not the later.

You wished itd go by quicker

and that your spoken tongue was thicker

long fights and thoughts were bitter

you wanna take it back, but thats for quitters
