HE IS NOT A PATRIOT

He is a great communist

His  son and daughter settled in America

He loves his mother tongue

His two wards study in a corporate English school

He is our education Minister.

She is an international feminist

Who killed her daughter-in-law for more dowry.

He supports the anti- corruption movement

His asserts are with the Swiss bank.

He works in the vigilance department

He has many an apartment

He is a famous rationalist

Who often consults the priest and palmist.

He is a progressive Brahmin

Who eats beef  and pork

And flirts  with a woman of his choice

 

He is an orthodox reactionary

Who follows the rituals of his caste

And the customs of his nation openly and scrupulously.

He does not follow any movement

Because he is not a patriot

This is full of honesty...If you'll listen to Randy Orton's theme song (lolz, what the hell am I talking about, ok, he's a wwe superstar XD)...There was a line that says.."Politicians are the liars"...It's kinda hard to think that they're good but...Yah know, one of the saddest things in this world is that some people take advantage because of the position they have in a particular place...I really like this poem a lot...The message you shared here is great... :)))

Many years ago. I was asked to be a politician. I told them I could not lie or steal. I didn't have the desire to deal with cons and liars making profit off the people sweat and their backs. I like the description. Most men or woman in leadership must sell their soul and lose their real self to wealth and money. A strong poem. Thank you for your excellent poetry.
