THE SUN AND THE COCOONA Poem by Jvl narasimharaoOur life is a mere illusion We are under incredible delusion The sun neither sets in the west Nor does it rise in the east The earth seems to be standing The Sun looks as if it were moving The star we see is not there It has gone afar We think as though we live for ever We hate our very neighbour And neglect even our life giver How do we feel when the earth does tremor? We may climb the Mount Everest Can we stop any tempest? We might have set our foot on the moon Before God we are like a baby in its mouth with a spoon Unless we come out of our cocoon We will never see the brightness of the Sun at noon
