![]() THE PALANQUIN BEARES AND THE HOUSE FLIESA Poem by Jvl narasimharaoWhen I go out I hear the sweet melody of the palanquin bearers. But when I go into my house, I hear the unbearable noise of the house flies. I know it is easier to conquer the world than my home which is a rather complex phenomenon. You may be worshipped like God outside but you may be dis-honoured by the members of your family The thieves, rowdies and goons are worshipped at home But they may be hated out side paradoxically,Even the greatest philosopher Socrates bore the brunt of his wife even though he was the wisest soul in the human history I would rather be respected out side than worshipped inside because I belong to the universe I don’t care my wife’s curse © 2011 Jvl narasimharaoReviews
