MARRIAGE

Marriage is the most important happening in one’s life

If one is a man, it brings him a wife

If one is a woman , it brings her a husband

And they make each other’s life so grand

 

Marriage helps the couple to have legitimate siblings

They will rejoice at their misgivings

Children are the gift of nature.

They will look after their parents in the future

 

Wife and husband live in peace together

In all aspects they help each other

Marriage is not just the union of two bodies

But it is the amalgamation of two souls

 

Marriage breaks down if mistrust  and dominance heads the crown

He or she tries to let the other down

Marriage is the greatest gift of God

All of us should obey our Lord

 

Let’s forget the initial hiccups

With love we can touch our companion’s lips

We live this life only once

Why make it unnecessarily tense

Beautifully said! I don't know how it is in India, but here in the United States of America, marriage is not taken as serious. It is to easy to get divorced. Times have changed from when I was younger. When you get married, its forever. The younger generation seems to skip marriage and just live together and have children, which to me is wrong, but that is my opinion. Take care.
