![]() POETIC CROWNA Poem by Jvl narasimharaoI don’t want to remain a foolish clown But I do like to wear the poetic crown I no longer write my verse And will surely be redeemed from my friends’ curse
I have more than two thousand poems to read. The task is Herculean, they may plead Everyday I have to make a reading century. This will certainly add to my linguistic repository.
Writing may make an exact man But reading makes me a different human I will know the nuances of my friends’ poems They will spread out their resplendent beams
I won’t scribble any poem for thirty days My poetic friends may wonder at my strange ways And doubt the veracity of my emotional sayings. But I will enjoy their delightful musings
