Winds of Change

Winds of Change

A Poem by The wanderer...
"

Am I allowed to feel this way ?

"

The winds of change are sweeping me away

Into a land far and unknown

I’m not who I used to be

It’s a new spirit, It’s a new me.

Rooted to the ground

I strive to hold my own

Though my body stands firm

My soul has already flown

Into the distant world

Of the far and the unknown

The winds of change have already blown.

From the realm of the known

To the intriguing unknown

A choice to make, has left me torn

I know not where I’m headed to

As I know not what I want to do

Yet the winds continue to blow

Beckoning me to the land unknown

Where my body fears to tread

But my spirit has flown

I try to fight but my soul has taken flight.
