Mother Earth

Mother Earth

A Poem by Unisoul

Dear son,

air,

earth,

water,

nature,

love,

kindness,

my beauty surrounds thee.

Breath in,

taste the living essence,

I am mother you see.

Do you fight with life,

so my legacy carries on?

Connected of one,

all must love,

cherish,

and protect me.

Divided,

self-righteously you fail,

human prophecies unfold.

You poison my water,

You destroy my land,

You consistently play God in the name of a profit.

You kill innocent people worldwide,

elevating the agenda of few.

Wars perpetuate,

while its money serves a dark lord.

Draining every resource from my shell,

you nearly ever give back.

Friends of this planet,

your mother is noticeably ill.

My message is clear,

if you care to help me heal.

“Help, before my children are washed away.”

The fish rapidly coming to an end.

Shifting tides will swallow.

Aquarius waits for the dawn of a new age.

for he will cleanse and defend his mother.
