The vampire song

The vampire song

A Poem by childofthedecay

Take my hand

taste my breathe

feel my teeth bush against your neck

greedy fingers twist your breast

won't stop till I'm victimless

feed off of all you expire to be

steal your energy

it feeds me

hide you in the shadows tight

feel my love cut like a knife

come lay with me in my crypt

the world dares care

I slit there wrists

feed off all they want to be

Take my hand

come feed with me

Vampires are among my favorite creatures and you depict them well in this poem. I love how , almost sporadic it is. ... it was divine to say the least

Hrm... Vampiric poetry. Interesting. Your poem certainly captures some of the essence of what I think it means to be a vampire. It flows almost sensually, yet does not conform at all. This seeming incongruence is one of the defining traits of a vampire; you manage to capture it well. There are a few changes that I would make but other than that, it was an interesting read.
