Tulips for You

Tulips for You

A Poem by JSAECH
"

A poem about shared flowers

"

It was one of the first things I gave you

Though I was expecting a lot more blue

We both planted at the same time

But we had to wait until springtime

While we waited we were both excited

A gift shared together as one, united

We talked and pined about the day

When we would see the beautiful array

A flower that has no equal

And every year will give a sequel

These flowers will forever say

I loved you enough to plant a bouquet

These tulips with such notoriety

They grow in such astonishing variety

Will grace you every spring

And with it the joy it will bring

Every tulip you will ever see

I hope you will stop and think of me.
