First Kiss

A sweet moment

As well move closer together

I’m feel light as a feather

I’m so nervous my palms are sweaty

But I know I’m finally ready

To take the leap and go for broke

I hope this time I do not choke

You look at me and I can see

That in this moment we agree

The time is right for our first kiss

An opportunity that I will not miss

As I pull you closer still

This is really quite a thrill

Your body next to mine

Our fingers intertwined

As I lean in for the kiss to begin

I feel your breath on my skin

I take one last glace in your eyes

And to my wonderful surprise

Your face is shining bright

I know now I’ll be alright

Our lips finally meet

A feeling that can’t be beat

I don’t know how far to go

I’m sure you will let me know

There is more that happens with this first kiss

Let me tell you were full of bliss

I cannot share any more

But our tongues did explore
