Crying Inside and Out

We cry for so many different reasons

Have you ever wanted to cry and didn’t know why

Have you ever cried because you were happy

Have your cried when you were sad

Have you cried because of heart ache

Have you cried because of heart break

Have you cried because you won

Have you cried because you lost

Have you cried because of missing someone

Have you cried when you saw them again

Have you cried with a friend

Have you cried all alone

 

I have cried for all these reasons and maybe more

I have mostly cried because I was sore

But as of the past few months I have cried the most

I can tell you with a certainty of why, for a love almost

I can’t say too much more as I am afraid it would bore

I can say that the one I cry for is the only one I adore

I will shed more tears, and have more fears about the day

When we will most like go our separate way

But until that time I will cherish every moment

And serve right here as her personal poet
