These Eyes

 

 

Truth...

Loyalty...

Compassion...

Forgiveness...

Observant...

Romantic...

Love...

Independence...

Fortitude...

Earnest...

Key ingredient's for the heart and soul.

I ask myself with a lack of confidence,

this reoccurring refracted image that

appalls me so, is it all for naught?

A billion eyes reflect such pain and

misery through misguided souls of

torment. Reaching for unattainable

summits as lunacy slowly takes hold.

Is it not apathy that I draw in with every

breath? Every vision of a barbarous

reality that even the sighted refuse to see.

Inarticulate beings, incapable of any

conscientious thought.

As my heart is longing and my soul is

compliant, my mind openly coherent.

These eyes of mine remain incredulous.

Ok...the picture creeped me out a bit....BUT as long as your eyes remain incredulous, longing and willing to see beyond what everyone else sees....you're good! The hardest part is turning your sight inward....taking that long, hard look at yourself...your soul. :) Great job!
